Get Involved at Yasha

We are here to encourage & support one another as the body of christ, across denominational lines

There are so many ways to get involved with Yasha, where we love to encourage and support one another as it is just so fun to work side by side with other believers in the Kingdom.

Worship

Worship is one of our keys to glorifying Jesus and getting breakthrough in the Spirit.  2 Chronicles 20:22 And when they began to sing and praise, the LORD set an ambush against the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah, so that they were routed.
We need worshippers in the congregation who love Jesus and desire to lift Him up in praise!
We also need those who are humble, unoffendable, and talented in the area of music, singers and musicians.  Come talk to Alexa about trying out for the  team!
 

Coffee Shop

We have a coffee shop! We will need those gifted in hospitality and love to serve and build community.  If you have talents in espresso making, that would be a real plus, but we can train willing hearts!
 

Intercede

We are looking for those who love to intercede for various topics.  Right now we pray for Israel, Siouxland, Human Trafficking, Pastors and churches across this region.  We also pray for the sick as they come in.  We would love to have volunteers to lead prayer times for government, our three states, their legislators and pieces of legislation that affect the Church or society.  We also would like to have someone head up a prayer time for the Suffering Church. There are so many things we can pray about… If you are called to intercession and would like to join a team or lead a team in intercession, see Shawn Lohry or some other Yasha staff person.
 

Cleaning

We have always done it all ourselves but if this is your gift, we would joyfully receive your service!
 

Hospitality

Some of you are just really good at making people feel loved.  And you are not shy about praying for people with needs or finding someone who can pray with them if you are not comfortable.  We need you!
 

Maintenance 

Every month there are tasks that should be done in our 70 year old building!  A couple of hours a month would be all that we foresee right now.   
 

Bible Study or Small Group Leaders

Lead a Bible study or small group.  If you have a passion in that area, come and talk to us!
 

Audio/Video Tech

We need an audio/video tech person.  We have willing hearts but not all the talent that is necessary.  If you are talented in this area, we would love to give you an opportunity to help!
 

Communications/Social Media

Communication/social media person.  We don’t even know what to call you, so you know how much we need you! 
 

Unknown Talents

You may have a talent that you know we need.  Don’t be shy!  I LOVE the Body of Christ and all the many parts, none less valuable or more valuable.  All needed and wanted for the beautiful whole picture.  Come talk to us if you see a niche you could fill.
